If you are tuning in for the first time of course I would like to welcome you trying to do a podcast once a week.
If I have time and so today’s topic is between successful and being unsuccessful I have talked about this actually on my video one of those days that I was talking about the illusion of success that I believe that success does not come in one definition it all comes down to your belief system so we have always been torn between I I want to be successful because I want to make more money I want to achieve my goals I want to gain a lot of viewers lots of followers and the metrics and the more we have followers the successful we become.
Of course, there’s another side that says well I don’t really want to become successful and also there’s another one that says in the Bible that with food and clothing you must be content now godliness with contentment is great gain for we brought nothing into to this world and it is certain we can carry nothing out and having food and clothing with these we shall be content so it’s kind of counterintuitive it’s contradictory wouldn’t you think because one group of people especially those who are millionaires and billionaires who have proven themselves to be successful they will tell you that you must do this A B C D X Y and Z the formula the systems so that you become successful as I said success has a different kind of definition it depends on who you ask it is not objective it is subjective but when you look at in the word of God.
Redefining Success
If I consider success as my previous video I talk about success as an illusion because for me really success does not mean that you have plenty of money in the bank that you’re rich that you’re a millionaire.
Although some people that’s the definition of success and it’s very superficial because what if everything is taken away from you and then what if everything is stripped away from you.
Then what who are you then when you have nothing else to prove that is actually something that I’ve been really struggling with when everything you have in your life, these are things material possession. But it doesn’t make you who you are your self or your identity is not dependent upon how much you make your identity is not dependent upon who you have in your life or how big your house is and the kind of car that you live.
If you really think about it you did not come with anything in this world you came out from your mother’s womb naked and you shall return naked wouldn’t you think that the world has been selling us this lie for such a long time.
Because Americans of course love to hustle culture we just like to always achieve things which there’s nothing wrong about that. But when you really dig deep into the word of God it tells us to have faith to trust to do not worry because majority of people.
The first thing that comes into their head the moment they wake up is money and money is becoming the God especially in the western culture the moment you wake up you look at your bank account of how much you make maybe of how much you have in the bank account left and that actually becomes your idol when Jesus said I am going to be your provider the one who provides everything that you need according to your glorious riches in Christ Jesus and we are told to not be conformed to this world.
but be transform of the renewing of her mind but if you are not careful you’re are going to buy the lies of the world so if you think that you are going to follow Christ wholeheartedly you have to dig deep in What God Says majority of people the first thing that come on in their head.
As I said, in the morning is look at the stock market, negative the inflation and the rise of inflation. The doubt how much is the S&P whatever it is that you want to call it is it really good right now to invest that’s their God that’s why Jesus said you cannot have two masters either you love me or you follow me or you’re going to love the money because you cannot have both you either going to love money or you’re more than you love God so the successful people of course they’re going to say of course you need money.
Of course, we need money how else can you possibly survive but if you truly want to embed it in your psyche to be God-centered in your life and to make Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and not money. that’s where the trust comes in that’s where the faith comes in because we don’t live by sight but by faith.
I’m not saying that you shouldn’t have goals and dreams and visions. As long as it aligns to the word of God. No I’m not saying that you should not ask God for your calling but calling does not come until you put the action into it okay God is not going to say yeah this is your calling I’m going to give you this formula the only way for you to find out your true calling is to step into faith for me I did not know that I have a gift of a gab when I started my YouTube channel when I started my podcast and that’s when I really confirmed in me that this is exactly where God called me communication and I have so much ideas in my head that has been there embedded for such a long time that I couldn’t really share it with anybody else.
Because it was suppressed when I was a child now I’m given this opportunity just to share a reservoir of information in my brain. so I realized that maybe this is exactly where God has called me but you’re not going to figure it out until you step into Faith. Because God cannot do it for you.
So, therefore if you want to become successful in anything ask God about it but at the same time do your work and take a risk if it doesn’t work maybe you should find something else and that’s how you figure it out of what you’re here to do.
So being successful is going to be simultaneously being content of where you are at I’m pretty sure you have heard the same quote before Bloom where you’re planted. Did you know that Joseph I love the Joseph story because he is really a person that truly God was molding him was breaking him before he became the prime minister or the governor of that town which is in Egypt or country. Perhaps second to pharaoh and I think sometimes we rush God and we think God surely it’s my time to shine right now and I don’t know I’ve been waiting so we can be content in the waiting season because our timetable it’s not the same as God’s timetable if you look at Joseph’s life at the age of 17 he had a dream in that dream the moon and the stars bowed down to him it was the analogy that his own family are going to bow down to him even his own father.
Of course, at that time, it doesn’t make sense because he was still young and of course he was bragging about it to his brothers. Because of the jealousy that was already happening inside his brother because he was highly favored by his dad and he got thrown into the Caravan to make the short he was sold into slavery into the Egyptians because they couldn’t kill him.
Because one of the brothers says surely we cannot kill our brother he’s still our brother no matter what happens he’s still our blood blah blah blah but then fast forward when Joseph ended up in the Piper’s house he ended up going to jail because he was falsely accused of sleeping with Piper’s wife even though he never touched her and so we wonder to ourselves surely God made a promise to him at the very young age that his own family are going to bow down to him. So why is it that God had brought him into this accused of imprisonment and even then you wouldn’t think that he probably God probably have forgotten the promises right.
We think that success is really a straight path when in fact God sometimes is going to take you a different route and you’re going to have detours along the way.
So I think that success to has its own definition it has your own journey. It depends on the person of wherever God is taking you but there’s no such thing as one size fits all. So yes we have all those gurus and self-development group or whatever you want to call them that have been proven money money money money because Money Talks.
The surge in block pattern utilization has led to a decrease in the average time spent designing web pages, with developers now able to deploy complex layouts in a fraction of the time previously required.

Money Talks, money is powerful because money is powerful but in the day of judgment money can’t save you. Righteousness does the Bible is clear Jesus said in times of judgment I’m only going to divide between the goats and the lamb my true followers and my don’t true followers. The ones that truly love me and the ones who don’t Jesus would say in the last days, “I will say I never knew you depart from me you wicked ones and lawlessness and the ones that really love him well done my good and faithful servant.
So yes we can all talk success all day long but the question is are you really successful? When God is not the center of your life are you really successful? When you take God out of the equation, I don’t think so because who are you then when everything is stripped down and taken away from you. When the judgment comes, do you think you can hang on to what you have now?
So the question is how much are we willing to sacrifice when it comes to success?
Because God is not impressed of your accolades, he’s not impressed of how much money you have in the bank. God said, I look at the heart. I do not judge the people based on their appearance, based on how much money they have, based on how much clothes they have in their closet and how much how big their house.
It is not how God functions that’s all material things and everything that we have in this world can be taken away God is the one who gives and God can take it all away the same thing with Job had everything but in one day God allowed Satan to take everything away from him except his wife and his life.
Because as I said, we cannot be deceived according to the word of God for Satan is deceitful. Why do you think that majority of people who claims about success, the main function is moneymaking? They will never talk about God first. But Jesus said, seek first the kingdom of God and all his righteousness and everything shall be added unto you.
The world will say Seek money first grind grind grind, the hustle. The first thing that comes into your mind the day you wake up and the moment you go to sleep is money. You worry about money but we are told not to worry. Be anxious for nothing but in everything but in prayer and supplications make your request to God and he’ll give you peace of mind and heart that that surpasses all understanding.
Surely if you know your Bible you know the trickery of Satan because Satan surely wants to make you worry about the future but Jesus said do not worry about your life look at the birds look at the lies they don’t toil nor spin but yet God provides for them where is your faith oh little faith that you have because right now we’re living in this world there’s so much confusion so much noises so much words that are actually from Satan himself the same propaganda the same nonsense from the old times our old foe have never changed Jesus said the tee comes in to steal to kill and destroy okay because that’s exactly how the world functions our first job as a Christian truly the followers of Christ is to seek first the kingdom of God that is the formula you want to be successful seek first the kingdom of God and all his righteousness and everything will be added onto you.
It’s not like the first thing you should do is worry about money, look at your bank account like the rest of the world does. Then keep worrying about it until lunch and breakfast and dinner until you go to sleep at night. That’s how the world function ladies and gentlemen. So, if I were you, if you truly want to be successful according to the book of the law in Joshua 1:9. Remember the book of the law, “It shall not depart from you, you shall meditate on it day in and day out. Meditate on God’s word. Chew on it, repeat it in your mind of what God said and not the world said and not the freaking Guru said.
But meditate on God’s word and He will make you successful and your ways become prosperous. Because we are not of this world. We’re in this world but we’re not of this world. Surely, you cannot conform to the world’s agenda. Jesus said, “Remember what Jesus said, “The narrow path to Heaven is hard.” It is lonely and only few people will find the narrow path and going to heaven is hard. But going to hell and the world is wide. Everybody goes there and everybody goes to a ditch. The blind leading the blind.
So there’s a very big distinction between success in God’s kingdom versus the success of the world. So, yes I am here to debunk all of the lies. Based on the truth and biblical principle because that’s exactly how I have pictured the Bible. I have been studying the Bible I am not perfect by any means. Of course, I still have doubt sometimes I still question surely God you said this but how come I haven’t seen the result yet. Because as I said, God’s timetable is not our timetable. Joseph did not become Prime Minister after a few years down the road after he was thrown into a prison cell two years more he still spent there.
Until one day, finally somebody remembered him a butler; perhaps, or was it a butler and took him out and said I know a man in the prison cell who can interpret your dream oh king Pharaoh. That’s the time when he became the Prime Minister and that’s the time he was able to lead and became the leader that changed the people’s life. He saved his own people and saved a lot of lives not only his family’s lives but also his own people. Because when there was a great famine that was happening where he used to live. The people from that area went to Egypt because Joseph had given this vision that one of these days they’re going to experience loss and famine.
That’s why they stored out a lot of food in the barn. You know the story, if you have probably read the Bible. If not then you should probably start reading the Bible. So my point is that success is not being successful unless you ask God and you dig deep of what the truth is that’s why Paul said, “People always come and they always seek for knowledge.” They go to school they acquire knowledge from books right now we have so many resources but they never come to the truth I am here to tell you the truth that without God in your life it is pointless it is meaningless less everything is vanity under the sun. As King Solomon says, at the end of the day it is better for you to worship God and to give him all the glory and honor and everything you have because guess what everything you have comes from him anyway you don’t own anything
You do not owe anything you do not own anything okay you just do not you’re just a manager you’re a steward you and I are borrowers we don’t own anything if you think about it your life is not yours your P family is not yours . Your time is not yours your talents are not yours our time is actually in God’s hands our life our very breath is in God’s hands you wish that maybe he gives you more five years to go. That’s why the Bible says, “Do not say that I’m going to go here so and so because you never know what tomorrow brings.” You can say, if God willing, if God is going to wake you up tomorrow.
Perhaps, you will be there because you cannot really say 5 years from now. I’ll be here you’ll never know what’s going to happen 5 years from now. Only you have is today there’s always an urgency. Today is sufficient enough. Today is the day of salvation do not delay it when God is trying to knock at the door of your heart to say repent and come to me. Do not delay because you are never guaranteed of tomorrow.
The last but not the least to be successful is of course trusting God with all your heart and lean not in your own understanding and acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. So there are three things to take away from this podcast seek first the kingdom of God make your relationship right with him and then ask him to reveal to you exactly where you should go.
Of course trust and Obey that’s all there is to it so that is the formula of becoming successful. If you would like to know more about the topic of being successful read your Bible because every Doctrine there is is the same thing you can read from the Old Testament to the New Testament.
The moment you read the Bible your eyes will be opened and you will never be the same again I promise you that. Just challenge yourself to read some verses each day and try to think about it how you can apply it in your life and I’m pretty sure your life will turned into a different course. When I used to be such a worrier. I love to worry so much before I could not sleep at night because I worried about money. I worried about my future. I worried about anything and everything I could think of under the sun until God said you need to trust me. Trust I know is very hard especially when people have disappointed you but here’s the thing people are not God.
God is Not people. Okay you cannot really say well I’ve been disappointed before but you have to trust that’s what Jesus said, I will never leave you as an orphan. I will help. I will give you a helper which is the Holy Spirit because I’m a good father. The Father in heaven when he give good gifts ,they are good. They’re actually yes and amen. The promises of God are yes and amen. You only have to claim it and you only have to believe it.
I’m not saying about claim it, receive it and manifest it like yeah I’m going to have Lamborghini. No that’s not what I’m saying okay. You can manifest all you want and talk it out all you want. Without action is pointless. Faith without action is dead but who wants to have those kinds of materialistic anyway when you have no relationship with God everything is pointless and everything is useless. Because we cannot make God as a Genie where we can rob three times and make a wish and hope for the best.
No that’s not how God functions. God wants to have a personal relationship. He wants you to have an intimacy with him and to really spend time with who he is by reading his word and asking him to reveal himself to you. When you read the word of God but because that’s what Jesus said that you know them by their fruit. Just look at the world of what they prioritized when it comes to success? I think that when you put God above everything else, God first and then everything else will follow.
Everything will unfold just beautifully in your life. No it’s not going to be perfect and I’m not saying that you’re going to have no more problems when you become a Christian or you you follow God to the tea. Because until the day you die, you’re always going to struggle and there’s always going to be problems because that’s how life is. That’s why Jesus said, “I will perfect you until the day he comes back rather I will finish the ministry which I have started in your life until the day I come.” He is a faithful father. He is a faithful God that he will never leave you nor forsake you that’s what his promises are.
As long as you hang on to me. As long as you believe in me and you keep my word and you keep my Commandments I will be with you until the day and the end of the time and until the end of the age. As long as we always attaching to the vine. When Jesus said I am the vine you are the branches apart from me you cannot bear fruit. So if you think that money is the only way for you to become successful without putting God first you are just following the wrong pathway. It all comes down to Satan’s agenda. It is man-made. It is man centeredness. It is Pharaoh because exactly what Jesus said you cannot love Me and mammon at the same time.
You cannot have two master for you either love the one or the love the other you either love me obey me follow me read my word and trust me even though sometimes it’s hard or you can have a different route which is manmade centeredness. It’s centered about me, myself, and I. We are also warned last but not the least do not love the world as John used to say for the love of the world, the love of the father is not in you, the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life. Why do you think people want to have more because they are lustful. They’re coveting.
They are not satisfied. They’re never content. What is enough? How much money is enough, really? When you think about it but because we live in this world we want to compete with everybody else. We want to have more and more and more and we’re very lustful, the lust of the eyes and the lust of the flesh. We always want to have more stuff for what reason? It’s not like we’re going to bring them when when we die. We can’t really bring a penny. Not even a penny that we can bring to the grave because it’s exactly what the Bible says you come into this world empty-handed and you will return empty-handed. Therefore that is just reminder that do not be deceived you must know your word put God first and God will do the rest.
