Episode #63 – How To Reclaim & Heal Your Feminine Essence?

Transcript:

Thanks for being here. How can you reclaim and heal your feminine essence? Do you ever wonder why you’re overly functioning and feeling anxious? What if I told you that you might still have unresolved issues from your past that sabotage your feminine essence? It is due to many years of abuse and unhealed trauma that have been laying dormant in your soul for a long time.

How can you reclaim and heal your feminine essence?

As healing does not rapidly evolves, staying true to your healing journey can significantly enhance your daily growth and over-all well-being.

1. Know your value

Know your value is my number one point. Your value does not dependent upon what was done to you. Whether you have been sexually, verbally, and mentally have been violated and abused. This does not tie in with your value. God said you’re fearfully and wonderfully made. In other words, he created you with reverence because you are the spitting image of him. You carry deep within your soul, a blueprint of your maker’s character, wonderful and good.

Example: For instance, a diamond is buried in a soil, but the value does not diminish with the right cut, clarity, and carrot. The same principle goes with you. what was done to you and the wrong choices you made in the past are not contingent on your value as a person.

2. Knowing Your Identity

Discovering your true identity is my second point. Your identity is who God created you to be. Hence, I said be and not do. It is not what you do or have done in the past. It is knowing who you are in God. Women who have usually practiced promiscuity is due to their lack of knowing their true identity. When you have been sexually abused by a man or men, you subconsciously formed a false belief in yourself that your abuse is associated with your identity. In fact, it is further from the truth. Your identity is your being, your essence. You are precious in the eyes of God regardless of what people have done to you.

Keep In Mind: Therefore, you must start with connecting with the vine which is the Lord Jesus Christ so that he can fill you with a fountain of living water and quench the chasm of your heart. Many of us think that I am my past that it is final. However, your past is done and gone. Start changing how you view yourself today. Which brings me to my next point.

3. Your Words Matter

Keep in mind: Your words matter. Words of affirmation. This is why it is crucial to shift negative words with positive ones. There is power with I am. Remember when Moses asked God at the bush encounter by asking him who should I say who you are when people ask me? And God answered I am who I am. What a straightforward answer. Therefore, when you start with I am plus positive words, it becomes powerful. It is affirming to yourself that you are not your past. You are not totally broken. You are not totally ruined. You still have hope. You still have this essence of important because you exist in this world. That you are intrinsically valuable in the eyes of God regardless of what people say or think about you.

Needless to say, what you say to yourself is very impactful. either subconsciously because your subconscious mind does not know the past. It only is aware of the knowing of today. If you tell yourself that I am wonderful, I am rich, I am gorgeous, I am capable, that’s exactly what is going to accept it. On the other hand, when you keep on reciting the same old pattern and words of saying I am broken, I will never get better. my circumstance is hopeless then you will eventually going to believe with that kind of mindset. Whatever you feed your mind it will eventually going to magnify it.

Therefore practice if you have not done so look at yourself in the mirror and tell to yourself and truly feel it. Perhaps you have not really taken the time to feel the emotion. It’s one thing to only say the words, but it’s not going to be as effective as truly feeling and embodying that kind of emotion when you truly tell yourself that you love yourself, which is number four is embodiment. You are a human being, not a human doing. You cannot feel your femininity by constantly performing.

So then, how do you embody a feminine essence?

Learn to rest. The sad truth is that for the last centuries, women have been sold a lie to keep on performing to earn love. We are given the list of motherhood, wifehood, our children’s mentor and teacher, to cook, housemaid.

There are also tons of things that we are told to do, which is split 50/50 with our husbands. And that’s why we’re frustrated and not pleasant to be around with because we’re constantly serving other people.

We are constantly at the expense of our own well-being by doing too much that you never allow yourself to rest and relax. That is why you are depleted of energy that causes you to be short-tempered and easily get irritated.

On the other hand, when a woman is highly functioning, your nervous system will be compromised. I am not saying that we should not do our responsibilities, but you must learn also to pull back and allow yourself to stay rested when it’s needed. You cannot embody a feminine essence when you are functioning in your masculine energy all the time.

So here are some of the ways to bring your nervous system to the equilibrium:

By practice breathing. Four, 7, 8. Breathe in and hold and release the air. Do this multiple times when you have a chance. Feel the sensation of your body. We don’t realize that we have been shallow breathing. We have been practicing shallowess of breathing. But when you truly want to feel relaxed and calm down in your nervous system, you must learn how to take a deep breath. Do it now and then release all of that. It’s it sends a signal into your brain that you’re actually are being in this not fight or flight mode, but you’re ready to just be relaxed and be present in the moment.

And number two, which is part of healing your nervous system, is listening to a soothing or relaxing music. I will suggest some of the instrumental music that I’ve been listening lately that has helped me a lot. There is power with sounds that brings alignment with your body.

Seize the moment

When I am overwhelmed with life, especially when there’s too much going on, I usually go to a quiet room and listen to a music and close my eyes and just really understand how I’m feeling and listen to what the words are coming out of my thoughts, the the words or a message perhaps that my body is trying to send me a signal. I’m trying to understand if there’s still feeling of anxiety or unresolved issues that I have still not yet healed or buried an issue that that happened for me in the past.

Another thing that can also help you alleviate your nervous system is your environment. Connect with nature if you can.

Nature has its beauty of making us understand that it is in stillness that we can grow. When you watch a tree, it doesn’t get plucked out and replanted on a different soil every day. It’s just there planted and rooted in the ground. And whatever storm may come, whether it’s windy or rainy, it just bends with the season. And the same thing with us.

We have to also understand that whatever season we’re at, we have to embrace it. We have to go where we’re planted. I love going to a park or a botanical gardens around your area is much better. Nature has its way of reminding you to slow down and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation. Stop and smell the roses. Could mean literally or metaphorically. In other words, slow down and enjoy day by day. Seize the day. Carpie diem!

Another thing is your home and the atmosphere that you live in can either be relaxing or adding more stress in your life. So tidying up around your place, organize your space, remove any objects that no longer support you or identify with you. Only bring objects that are making you calm.

Declutter as often like getting rid of mails and pile of junk. as I have done a podcast a while ago stating that maintenance is the key. Maintaining your pile of laundry, cleaning your closet and organizing your pantry to removing any unused items are necessary.

These designs optimize space and resources by emphasizing vertical layouts and minimizing the need for excessive elements.
WordPress`s block patterns significantly reduce the time and effort needed to design web pages.

According to St. Francis De Sales, “Never be in a hurry. Do everything quietly and in a calm spirit. Do not lose your inner peace for anything whatsoever, even if your whole world seems upset.”

And of course, let’s not forget about reclaiming and healing your feminine essence is self-care, which includes reading, moving your body, going to a spa, getting your hair and nails done if you can afford them, keeping with your appearance from head to toe. If you look good, you will feel good.

Self-image is everything. What you see in the mirror matters for it invokes something in you. That’s why as much as you have to change from PJs or sleeping wear into a different outfit by the time you wake up, brush your teeth, comb your hair, wash your face, because what you see in the mirror, every time you see a reflection in the mirror with a frumpy clothes and uncomb hair, it sends a signal to your brain that you do not worth that much of attention.

If you give so much time tidying to your place and keeping it organized and clean, the same logic must be applied to your appearance. I do not know about you but whenever I stay with my sleeping wear my body naturally just want to lounge around and do nothing all day that’s why I have different clothes for cleaning and working out each costume represent of who you are in that day after I have done my chores and worked out for a few minutes then I will take a shower and change my costume to a dress or a cute blouse or pants whatever you neglect loses its value.

Ease your pain by taking the time to stretch.

Then of course last but not the least circle of influence Your circle of influence are important in reclaiming and healing your feminine essence. Assess the kind of people around you. Do they naturally uplift you or drain you? You will be surprised the amount of influence other people have on you and vice versa. If you are naturally a complainer and a gossiper and the people around you are going to most likely to be infected with the same trait, the more you are surrounded with negative toxic people, dysfunctional who are unwilling to be healed, you are most likely going to be dragged on with their drama. You will perpetually going to the same thing thinking about the same problems you have.

Evil company corrupts good moral.

Constantly rehearsing and venting with the same saga are only convincing yourself that you are a victim of your circumstance and you do not have a choice to make any changes. Your circle of influence includes friendships, family members, the people that you follow online, the podcast that you listen to, the YouTube channel that you watch, social media can either bring forth positive outcome in your life or can help you have a better future and teach you about self-improvement or probably make you a Betty downer.

Take time for yourself as often as you like.

So ask yourself this question. Who do you hang out with? People with an eagle mindset who soar above their circumstance or with a bunch of pigeons? Pigeons who just hang around and do absolutely nothing. Whatever you find your whatever you feed your mind rather, you’re eventually being programmed on what you believe about yourself and the world.

The world is chaotic and many people are divisive who only want to divide and conquer. But your job is to truly attune to your body, your mind, and your heart and reclaim and heal your feminine essence. Because my friend, no one can do the hard stuff for you. And if you have not done so, reflect today, journal, meditate, and truly listen to what your heart is saying. I hope that you are wonderful as you can be, and stay bold, be brave, and be courageous. Have a wonderful day!
