Las Vegas City

My Recent Fascination & Exploration

Who would have thought that since moving to Las Vegas several years ago that my fascination of the city grew. This year alone, I have revisited the strip and acted as a tourist. I used to dread visiting the strip and mingling with the tourists. Funny how, I no longer consider myself as one, but a local. Although it took me awhile to finally feel at home in the city of Las Vegas;nevertheless, the more I explored and taken the time to find the hidden gems of what the city offers, I somehow grew fond of it.

Now that my son is old enough to understand and appreciate traveling, he is usually my companion exploring. If you would like to avoid the busyness and the crowd, the best time I usually visit the strip is in the morning when no one is practically around. However, you are not going to see the city lights. But you would not even notice it once you are inside the casino. When I revisited the strip, I told my self to remain present and appreciate the beauty of each casino I walked into. When you are feeling rushed and never taken the time to be in the moment you will miss out on the wonderful scenes and architectural design each casino brings. The only reason I visited the strip a few years ago was that my family was here. However, we did not have time to walk around for we were trying to get to the buffet and that was that.

But, if you have plenty of time to spare and you are not in a hurry, you will be surprised that the city has a lot to offer. For instance, the Mandalay Bay is a great place to take your children and explore their Shark Reef. It will give them something to do and learn about the seaworld. You can watch our latest tour here.

Additionally, if you are looking for a place to shop at a high-end store, Ceasar’s Palace is a place to be. And even if you are not there to splurge on a luxurious merchandise, you will still be captivated by the wide variety of shops and restaurants. By simply meandering around, you will feel as though anything is possible that whatever challenges you are facing, you will forget them temporarily as you explore the extravagant displays on the window and drawn to the columns, the grandeur design and the high ceiling that it feels as though you are exported to another place. Then of course, if you want to visit Venice without flying to Italy, Las Vegas also offers a mimickery of the indoor route of the Grand Canal in a gondola boat ride that is best for couples.. You can watch the video below. Although I have not tried riding it myself, it is still worth exploring shops and a myriad of restaurants that will leave you fascinated.
